السؤال الأول :                                          الدرجه (5)

1-1 عرف المبادى الأساسية التالية لتصميم نظم مناولة المواد
- 1 – مبدأ التوجيه ( Orientation Principle )
- 2 – مبدأ الجاذبية الأرضية ( Gravity Principle) 3 – مبدأ الطاقة ( Energy Principle )
- 4 – التخزين في نقطة الاستخدام ( Point of use Storage )
- 5 – وحدة الحمل المنقول ( Unit Load )

1-2 اذكر الخصائص الواجب توافرها فى الناقلات .

2- A horizontal flat belt conveyor conveying bulk load with γ = 1.6 ton/m3. The conveying capacity Q= 36 ton/hr, and the conveyor's velocity v= 0.5 m/s. Calculate:

a) The belt width B, if the repose angle for the bulk weight φ = 35°.
b) The number of plies I, if the max. Tension Smax = 800 kg and ultimate tensile strength = 55 kg/ cm.
c) Loads per running meters q, qb. qp.
d) The electric motor power N, if Ssl = 300kg, and η=0.9.

السؤال الثالث :                                          الدرجه (5)

3- A belt conveyors is intended for the conveyance of cylindrical castings. The casting have a diameter of d =285 mm, a height h= 100 mm and a piece- weight of 15 kg. the conveyor capacity Z= 2000 piece per hour, the coefficient allowing for irregularity of feed is 1.25. the distance between separate parts equal to 3d. The conveyor is combined inclined – horizontal type as shown in the following figure.







- The following data are considered:

μ׳ =0.022 , μ1= 0.4, μ= 0.25, Kt= 55 kg/cm, η = 0.9

Inclined length = 60m (L1), horizontal length = 10m (L2)





Determine:

1- Main parameter of the conveyor.

2- Loads per running meters.

3- Resistance to motion.

4- Calculation of belt construction.

5- Pull and electric motor power.

6- The total resistance factor.
